Duathlon, Tryopia, matches and more...

It has been a brilliant month for the club, with lots of matches played and two events played.

We started the month with the 25th anniversary Hampstead Duathlon. We had a record number of competitiors and a huge amount of Hampstead RFC volunteers who made the event so successful. A massive thank you to Ella Mitchell who led the preparations for Hampstead RFC, alongside the City of London, Jubilee Hall trust and Kronos Sports.

Minis and Juniors rugby has been back with fatastic numbers. We held our first club event called Trytopia last weekend, with over 300 people enjoying the fun and many burgers and hot dogs. The raffle rasied £305 for the Royal Free Charity. A massive thank you to Scott Davis, Lindsay Topham and Bee Soto for the huge amount of work they put into the event. Also, thank you to the many volunteers who made it a success.

The Seniors have been back in action and off to a great start. The men's 1st team and women+ 1st team are both undefeated, men's 2s have won one and lost one and the women+ 2s have lost two matches on the road. Both sections are looking forward to the month ahead. The men's 1st team will be playing at Saracens Amateurs on Friday 11th October under the floodlights at Bramley Sports Ground. It would be great to get a crowd down for that match. Training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7PM at Parliament Hill running track.
