The men's section's 'at home' fitness regime is proving a hit across the Club

The coronavirus lockdown brought the rugby season to a premature end and closed gyms and public parks up and down the country. So how do rugby players maintain fitness levels during the crisis?

Head Coach Peter Breen and the men's section have come up with a HomeGym Challenge designed to keep you active and fit while having a bit of fun and injecting a healthy dose of competition between section members.

The programme is already proving popular, with wives, girlfriends, partners and flatmates taking up the HomeGym Challenge. So we wanted to make the programme available to ALL sections and make the HomeGym Challenge a Club-wide phenomenon!

The programme of nine exercises is outlined below with an introductory video from Peter. It is accompanied by a series of short videos showing how the various exercises should be completed. These will be updated or added to over time.

If you can do this on your own of course, but if you want to add an element of competition within your own section - Women's or the various Youth age groups - get in touch with Peter who will be glad to help you organise that.
